Winter in New York

Lucy would like to introduce her good friend Dude -- where were they playing ball:

Answer:  Lucy and Dude on the bridge crossing the pond near Wollman Rink in the Southeast part of Central Park.

Lucy likes her art -- do you know the artist and the building:

Answer:   Lucy in the Time Warner Building with the Salvadore Dali sculpture Dance Of Time II in the Background.   The Dali exhibit will be on view through the end of April 2011.

Lucy would like to introduce her good friend Tilly -- where were they hanging out:

Answer: Lucy and Tilly are in front of the Besthesda statue in Central Park. “Designed by Emma Stebbins, the centerpiece of the ‘Angel of the Waters’ was the only sculpture commissioned as part of the original design of the Park naming her the first woman to receive a commission for a major work of art in New York City. Located on the lower level of Bethesda Terrace, this neoclassical winged female figure symbolizes and celebrates the purifying of the city’s water supply when the Croton Aqueduct opened in 1842 bringing fresh water to all New Yorkers. For this reason she carries a lily, the symbol of purity in one hand while her other hand extends outward as she blesses the water below.” http://www.centralpark2000.com/database/bethesda_fountain.html

Lucy with one of the most exclusive buildings on the west side in the background -- guess the building:

Answer:  Lucy with 15 Central Park West in the background (at 61st st.)  Celebrity residents include or have included Sting, Norman Lear, Denzel Washington, Bob Costas, Goldman Sachs CEO Llody Blankfein, former Citigroup executive Sandy Weill, and professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez.”  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/15_Central_Park_West

FYI:  One of Lucy's readers let us know about a recall of Merrick brand Texas Taffy Treats:
